I am a Michigan native through and through. Born and raised in the Bloomfield area, I am intimately familiar with the greater Metro-Detroit area and all its grandeur. While studying journalism, broadcast communications and marketing in college, I was fortunate to secure what began as a part-time job running cameras for the television news at an NBC affiliate TV station in Traverse City, Michigan. That soon blossomed into occasionally filling in on-air in the Sports Anchor slot and eventually I found myself in the weekend Anchor chair delivering the news, sports and weather every weekend which I developed into a paid university internship until I graduated college. Unable to readily secure an on-air Anchor job in a major market of my choosing, I put my college degree to work as an Adman. I spent the next 6 years working as an Account Executive at several of the world’s largest Ad Agencies gaining valuable experience in the marketing and product positioning world. Eventually, an opportunity presented itself within the medical arena selling products to Hospitals, which I did until recruited by a medical implant company. In that position, I worked closely with Orthopedic Surgeons both within and out of the operating room on total joint replacement and bone trauma procedures. I later signed on with a Hi-tech medical laser company where I spent 12 years. My various positions included initially working as a Sales Representative, then promoted to Midwest Region Manager and ultimately promoted to Vice President of Western US Sales. The company was eventually purchased by a direct competitor. Thank goodness for that event; it gave me enough pause to realize that putting 180,000+ miles annually in the air alone and out of town 4 days each week overseeing sales teams all over the west US, was not affording me the amount of quality family time I so desired. Having purchased, sold, built and /or refurbished 4 homes of my own, real estate, including property and homes, was and is near and dear to my heart! I signed on with Keller Williams; the choice was clear. Real Estate is allowing me the privilege to focus on family and the needs of our community while helping folks buy and sell their dreams – their homes.
